Wine has a very special place on the Widerna organic farm. Here, the youngest son Lorenz dominates the craft. He showed enthusiasm for being a winemaker at an early age. Attending the winemaking school in Krems formed the foundation of his wine knowledge. Through independent tasting, creative ideas and gathering experience in winemaking, expressive wines are created. Together with Florian, who takes care of marketing, the brothers start off full of energy and are an important part of the whole. Both have found their place in the company.

The parallels between the organic farm and the Widerna organic winery are evident in their naturalness and down-to-earth nature. The soil is also the be-all and end-all in winegrowing and requires the utmost respect and care. A lot of manual work keeps the vines vital and healthy. Only organic plant protection products are used to prevent diseases. Awareness of nature and quality are the basis of the philosophy and this is evident in both the organic winery and the organic farm. Everything is the same, but somehow also unique.

The wine selection is colourful. From the classic Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Weißburgunder, Sauvignon Blanc to modern varieties such as Blütenmuskateller and Souvignier Gris, you will find not only white wine, but also
Red wines, frizzante and orange wines. Complexity, finesse and drinkability are just as important as the balance of the wines. Organic farming promotes their expressiveness. The diversity of our soils is reflected in the different wine styles. The living soil forms the basis and is of great importance to us. Of course, the winemaker's signature should not be neglected. Passion for what we do creates a complete package of individual, distinctive wines that are by no means lacking in drinking pleasure.
